“We are really proud of this collaboration. Suzanne brings a wealth of experience and nothing makes us happier than when designers and architects are inspired to create products with us. Suzanne always brings something entirely unique to our natural, sustainable materials”, says Lay Koon Tan, Co-Founder of Nature Squared, about the partnership. Suzanne Lovell Inc. is a Chicago-based firm specializing in residential interior architecture, interior design and decoration.
“We are best known for highly detailed interior projects that offer unique lifestyle
experiences for our clients. This collaboration allowed us to impart a full consideration of design detailing as we would for a project, but on a more intimate scale. It’s been a real pleasure to collaborate with them on this project”, says Suzanne. Along with her team, the firm has received numerous national and international design awards, has been published widely in architectural magazines, and Suzanne herself is a sought-after lecturer and speaker.
Uniting a modern interpretation of a traditional art deco design with natural, sustainable materials.
This piece is an art deco inspired club chair, reinvented and modernized by Suzanne and her team. The panels feature a hand finished eggshell pattern that has been inlaid onto black resin. It is a true work of art.
From a simple eggshell substance to a sublimated material – art deco reinterpreted.
Suzanne’s design vision is transformed into 3D. From thereon the design is passed through many Artisan hands including upholsters, cabinet makers, jewelry cutters and resin specialists, only to name a few.
