Cracked eggshell has played an important part in Asia’s ornamental history as well as in the design of historical bespoke surfaces. Nowadays the process remains the same as before; systematically cracking pieces of eggshell to certain sizes and inlaying them by hand.

Like other materials we use, eggshell is a by-product of the food industry and is mainly sourced from local bakeries. We can roast and colour the shell to create specific patterns, colours and textures.
