The Big Rethink at Fort Street Studio

Join us to hear Fort Street Studio’s CEO Paul Melo in conversation with Nature Squared’s Co-founder Lay Koon Tan. “The Big Rethink – Material innovations” will be moderated by The Grand Tourist podcast’s host Dan Rubinstein. Discussion topics will include the use of natural materials in luxury products, the importance of responsible sourcing, and the positive effect art and design have on our homes.

 The salon style evening will be hosted at Fort Street Studio showroom, 19 West 22nd St, Suite 5N, New York, NY 10011, on Thursday, November 17th from 6:00 PM to 8pm. The panel will begin at 7:00 PM.

This event was moderated by Dan Rubinstein, host of The Grand Tourist Podcast. Rubinstein has been a design journalist for over 20 years.  The podcast introduces listeners to the leading tastemakers of the creative world, from master chefs to experimental architects. It is a virtual journey through the worlds of fashion, interior design, art, food, and travel – all the elements of a well-lived life. His guests included artists and legends in the architecture and design world, such as Bijarke Ingles, Moshe Safdie, Chefs Daniel Boulud and Thomas Keller and designers India Mahdavi and Annabelle Selldorf, to name a few.
