An outdoor installation designed by Nature Squared Chief Material Innovator,
Elaine Yan Ling Ng
CArrelé comes in a variety of square, rectangular and triangular shapes and in three colour families.
The entire floor, steps and existing columns of The Barn are covered with CArrelé tiles. There are also stools and accessories to show how versatile the tiles are in different settings.
Also in The Barn is our new luxurious hand-woven textile, a sustainable combination of abaca palm fibre, with piná and lurex.
With its ability to be moulded into various shapes and sizes, the eggshell formula also has potential for interior moulding to suit complex shapes.
THE BARN: INSPIRATION
Elaine Yan Ling Ng’s modernist-inspired The Barn installation pays tribute to one of Europe’s oldest timber framed buildings, Coggeshall Grange Barn, built in the 13th century.
Located in the courtyard at Rossana Orlandi’s iconic Milan gallery, The Barn provides a showcase for the new CArrelé collection of eggshell tiles.
