FROM THATCHING TO WALLING
Vines and reeds are fast-growing and abundant. Our surfaces are made from raw materials harvested by indigenous people and usually used in basketry and thatching. The natural protection afforded by their hard-wearing and water-resistant outer layers provide a subtle sheen as well as rendering them eminently suitable for interior use.
RED VINE – BLACK STONE
From basketry to handsome panelling, this striking surface lends itself to understated distinction.
PAN REED – WHITE STONE
Combining the natural irregularities of this fine reed with a white stony ground evokes a Japanese garden and a Zen-like calm.
NITO – BLACK STONE
Reminiscent of a bold pinstripe, our nito vine surface is masculine and graphic.
ABACA BARK STRIPS
With wonderful natural colour variation, this palm bark provides a wood-like texture yet references movement and nuance.
SANTA MARIA GRASS, BLACK
The contrast of the golden seed pods and the black ground is classical but combines to a unique natural aesthetic.
BANANA BARK, GREY
Known for its wild and extravagant colour variation, we have tamed our banana bark into a sedate but nuanced grey.
